Getting in and out
From the Dolphin Expressway (SR-836), exit at LeJeune Road (NW 42nd Avenue) and follow the airport entry signs. MIA Economy Lot is signed in white-on-blue with the lot name and approximate availability. From the airport ring road, follow the inner loop signs for "Short-Term Parking" or "Long-Term Parking" depending on which lot you are heading to.
On exit, follow the lit overhead signs out of the garage and rejoin the airport ring road. From there it is roughly five to seven minutes back to either of the major expressways (SR-836 east or west, SR-112 north). Allow extra time during the morning and evening rush — exit ramps can back up onto LeJeune Road.
Reservations and pricing
MIA's online parking reservation system allows you to lock in rates for MIA Economy Lot up to several months in advance. Reserved parking is paid online and the entry barrier reads your license plate when you arrive — no ticket required. Walk-in pricing matches the published daily rate when capacity allows; during peak periods the lot may be marked FULL on the inbound signs, in which case you'll be redirected to the next available facility.
For the lowest published rates at MIA Economy Lot, book at least 7 to 14 days in advance. Discount codes occasionally appear on the airport's social channels and via airport-affiliated travel partners. Note that off-airport private lots advertise lower headline rates but charge for shuttles and shuttle wait times — depending on your trip, the on-airport rate is often competitive once you account for time.
